On The Morning Show, we love celebrating people who move with purpose — and Steven B. Walters is one of those rare artists whose presence shines just as brightly on the inside as it does on the outside.

Steven bridges the worlds of fashion, film, mentorship, and community, and now he’s pouring all of that brilliance into the revival of the Harlem Boys Choir as its official Host & Mentor. His mission? To help every young man in the choir step confidently into his voice, his story, and his power.

A Star Discovered Early

Steven’s journey began at 19 when he was scouted as a model — and within months, he found himself on a national stage as a Teen Choice Awards trophy presenter. From there, the industry took notice. Campaigns with JCPenney, New Era, Pepsi, and Shea Moisture followed, showing the world a young man with presence, grace, and a natural connection to the camera.

What made Steven stand out wasn’t just the look — it was the authenticity. He brought soul to every frame.

Acting With Heart

Steven deepened his craft with training from industry titans Susan Batson, Stuart Burney, and Matt Newton, developing a storytelling style rooted in truth and emotional honesty.

His acting credits include POSE (FX), FOR LIFE (ABC), and LAW & ORDER (NBC). But his award-winning performance as a devoted father in How to Tie a Tie introduced audiences to a deeper dimension of his artistry — quiet, powerful, human.

Mentor. Leader. Brother. Guide.

Off-screen, Steven’s impact is even greater.

As founder of Imagine Me, his Harlem-based mentorship program, he has guided more than 50 young men through therapy, life coaching, vocational growth, and emotional development. He is a steady voice, a safe place, and a guide for boys becoming men.

This is exactly why he was chosen to join the Harlem Boys Choir revival. In his role as Host & Mentor, Steven:

  • Welcomes new boys at the audition stage
  • Helps shape their stories for The Morning Show & Mood Magazine
  • Walks them from first rehearsal to their big Revival performance
  • Supports their emotional, artistic, and personal development

He’s not just guiding voices — he’s shaping futures.

Global Influence, Harlem Heart

Steven’s digital platforms reach audiences around the world, sharing messages of peace, healing, and transformation. He is one of the most sought-after content creators of his generation — not for viral trends, but for wisdom.

His work aligns perfectly with Harlem Collective’s mission during its historic two-year residency at the Apollo Victoria Theatre — a moment that is introducing new audiences to classical arts, opera, and the cultural renaissance unfolding in Harlem.

Steven brings authenticity. He brings love. He brings excellence.
And he brings Harlem Boys Choir members into their fullest selves.
